Boris Baltes, senior affiliate provost for college affairs, has been named interim dean of the College or university of Education. His appointment is productive July 1, 2022. For the duration of his time as interim dean, he will also continue being in his posture in the Office environment of the Provost.

“Dr. Baltes has held many crucial administrative appointments during his time at Wayne Condition, together with department chair and his recent role as senior affiliate provost,” claimed Mark Kornbluh, Provost and Senior Vice President for Tutorial Affairs. “I have worked closely with him this year, and I am confident that his leadership competencies and style will serve the university very well.”

Baltes collection was produced in consultation with the Higher education of Education’s Govt Committee. 

Baltes initially came to Wayne Point out in 1998 as a school member in the Office of Psychology. Baltes’ important research interests consist of examining biases in functionality appraisal, age and office issues and the location of get the job done-household conflict.
